Motherlode Beer & Music Festival

July 31 @ 5:00 pm - August 1 @ 10:00 pm

Brought to you by Placerville Preservation Association

What is the Motherlode Beer and Music Festival?
Beer is an amazing thing! There are so many styles of beer and more and more are being created every day.  Brewers are not afraid to experiment and often push the boundaries of brewing to the limits.  But brew fests and beer festivals seem to be largely the same.  Not that going to a festival and sampling dozens of beers is ever a bad thing, but we believe it can be so much more than what has become the standard.
Beer drinkers of today are smart, want more knowledge of brewing techniques and styles, love to try new beers and above all, love the experiences surrounding having a beer with friends. The Motherlode Brewfest will mix outstanding beers whose origins are from somewhere in the Sierra Foothills and the Sacramento Valley, roughly following Hwy 49 from North to South and Hwy’s 50 and 80 East to West from Tahoe to Sac. This special part of California is where gold was discovered and where the pioneer spirit is still alive and well.  We will mix in a solid heaping of unique experiences, kick ass music, local wines and food and attention to details that Kilt & Cork Events are known for.
So break out of the norm, follow your adventurous spirit to the Sierra Foothills and experience something new, the Motherlode Brew and Music Festival.
Organizers Note: Although this event is not the former Placerville Bell Tower Brewfest, we would like to think we are continuing the excitement and the love of beer that the Bell Tower Brewfest provided for so many  years.  We hope as we release the beers, bands and vendors who will be participating in this event, you will be as excited as we are to present the Motherlode Beer and Music Festival!  Stay tuned!
